We are excited to announce that Bransty will be getting two new play areas in 2026.
There will be a play area for toddlers, aged 2 – 4 years beside the new community gardens, near Harbour View Nursing Home.
The other, larger site, for children aged 4-14, will be located within the grounds of Bransty Primary school and open to the public outside of school hours with access via South View Road.
We will ensure that high quality equipment (including seating) is provided, the design is robust and that the new facilities will be long-lasting. Consideration will be given to inclusive equipment, suitable for less able users, wherever possible.
The closing date for votes is Friday 20 February 2026
