Cumberland Council would like to hear from family members and informal carers about how technology can help your loved ones stay independent and well in their own homes and communities.
Technology Enabled Care (TEC) refers to the use of everyday and specialist technology to help people live safely, independently and well – usually in their own homes or local communities. It brings together health, social care and digital tools so that support is more proactive, more personalised and easier to access.
This short survey is part of a wider Adult Social Care programme looking at how technology can support independence, health, and wellbeing for people of all ages.
We’ll ask you a few questions about:
The person or people you support and how they use technology
What types of technology you’re aware of
Your thoughts and experiences as a family member or carer
Please note:
Your answers are anonymous – we won’t ask for your name or share any personal details.
Taking part is completely voluntary – you can stop at any time.
Please only answer the questions you are comfortable in providing an answer for.
The information you share will help us improve services and support for families and the people you care for.
All responses will be securely deleted once the survey analysis is complete.
