Cumberland Council is developing a 15-year Housing Strategy which outlines the work we will do to improve access to affordable housing, bring new housing to the market, improve the condition of housing stock to enable people to live in safe, warm homes and increase health and well-being across Cumberland.
We would like to hear your views to make sure that our priorities reflect the issues you feel are most important in your local area. This survey is your opportunity to tell us whether you agree with our priorities and let us know what you think are the main housing issues in Cumberland.
We are keen to hear from you and ensure that the work we do to bring forward new housing and improve existing housing stock best meets the needs of our communities. The feedback we receive will be used to finalise the priorities of the Housing Strategy and we look forward to hearing your views.
The Housing Strategy is due to be adopted by the Council at the Executive meeting in July 2025.
