We are working to upgrade existing play facilities at Hammond’s Pond as part of the 'Start with the Park' project, with works planned for summer 2025.
We will be improving the accessibility and cleanliness of parts of the junior section of the play area by replacing loose bark with new rubber wet pour surfacing. In the infants and toddlers area we will be installing some new, smaller items of equipment into the corner of the site nearest the café, together with upgrading from bark to wet pour surfacing.
We want you to help us choose the right equipment.
New infants play equipment will be modern, robustly made and must fit into the available space. Please help us to choose the new items by selecting your two favourite options from the equipment types below.
