A special event on Tuesday 2 December asked residents what they love about the village, how it works for them and what could be done better. It included an exploratory 'walkabout' and a workshop in the village hall.

The event was to assess the social and physical aspects of living in Allonby, and ask whether the amenities and structure of the village serve residents' needs.

The findings from the Place Standard exercise and survey will be shared at a drop-in event:

• Saturday, 24 January
• 10 am until noon
• Allonby Village Hall.

The council will ask for people’s feedback on the results, and staff will be on hand to answer questions. There will be no formal presentations and people are welcome to drop in at any time between 10 am and noon.
