Family Wellbeing in Cumberland: Tell us your views on our services 

Our vision 

Cumberland Council’s vision is that every child grows up in a nurturing and supportive environment, surrounded by love and a strong community which enables them to thrive. By prioritising children and family wellbeing, we can create a brighter future for generations to come. 

How we will get there? 

By providing more support where it is needed at an earlier stage, we will enable families to provide a safe, stable, and enriching upbringing for their children.  

We want to make sure that we are providing the right kind of services in the right way for Cumberland’s families. The Family Wellbeing programme will carefully consider how we should change and improve the support services we currently provide and the way in which we provide them, to benefit Cumberland’s families. 

Why your views matter

We are looking at changing and improving some of the support services we provide to Cumberland’s families.  Your input is essential to ensure that the support services we provide meet the needs of families in Cumberland.

Once the survey is closed, we will analyse the feedback to help us to create a new plan for how we should change and improve our services.  Once we have that plan, we will consult again to ensure we have the right services to meet your needs.
